 Την σχολική χρονιά 2019 2020 το Β1 ασχολήθηκε με το έργο Games in the school yard.H συνεργασία ήταν μεταξύ Ελλάδας, Τουρκίας, Ιταλίας.


Games in the school yard

This project focuses on games in the schoolyard. By playing games children gain experience and come into touch with their environment. Games are necessary for their physical, mental, emotional development and socialization. Through this project we want pupils to realize that children from other countries can play similar games.  Our activities will be based on the ‘project’ method and teamwork. Pupils are going to communicate with pupils from other schools of Greece and Italy through teleconferences, escaping, in this way, from the classroom borders and daily routine. Participant classes will be A, B and D classes of primary schools.

Aims

Pupils are expected to

  • build communication and cooperation skills through participating in team games
  • develop respect, responsibility and solidarity through playing individual and/or team games
  • familiarize themselves with games from other countries and spot the similarities and differences between the games of their country and those from other countries
  • realize the importance of games for their physical and mental health
  • understand the timelessness of games

Activities    

NOVEMBER              

Partners and pupils get to know one another.

Presentation of the countries, cities and schools that take part in the project.

Creation of and voting for the project logo.

 

DECEMBER

Working groups formation.

Game categorization into individual/team games.

Christmas cards exchange among partners.

 

JANUARY-FEBRUARY-MARCH

Presentation of two different games each month.

Pupils get to know the game rules and play the games.

The participating countries present the games through teleconferences that will be arranged accordingly.

 

APRIL

Games in various Works of Art.

 

MAY

Making of an e book presenting all the games the participating countries dealt with.

 

JUNE

Project evaluation by teachers and students.

Project dissemination through partner school websites. 

 

 

This project focuses on games played in the schoolyard. We chose to do this project because through games children gain experience, get to know their environment and get connected with it. Games are necessary for their physical, mental and emotional development. They help in pupils’ socialization. Through this project we want pupils to realize that they play games common with games from other countries and to find any similarities and differences between them. Partners from Greece and Italy are going to participate to this project. Our activities used will be based on the ‘project’ method and on teamwork. Pupils are going to communicate with pupils from other schools through teleconferences, escaping, in this way, from the classroom borders and daily routine. Το συγκεκριμένο έργο αναφέρεται στα παιχνίδια στην αυλή του σχολείου. Ο λόγος που έγινε η επιλογή αυτού του θέματος ήταν γιατί το το παιχνίδι αποτελεί μια δραστηριότητα με την οποία το παιδί αποκτά εμπειρίες, γνωρίζει το περιβάλλον του και αποκτά σχέσεις με αυτό. Είναι απαραίτητο για την σωματική, ψυχική και συναισθηματική του ανάπτυξη.Βοηθάει στην κοινωνικοποίηση των μαθητών. Με το έργο αυτό θα θέλαμε οι μαθητές να κατανοήσουν ότι παίζουν κοινά παιχνίδια με παιδιά άλλων χωρών, βρίσκοντας ομοιότητες και διαφορές μεταξύ των παιχνιδιών τους. Στο έργο θα συμμετέχουν συνεργάτες από Ιταλία και Ελλάδα. Θα χρησιμοποιηθεί η μέθοδος project και η ομαδοσυνεργατική, αφού οι δράσεις μας θα είναι συνεργατικές. Θα έρθουν σε επαφή μέσω των τηλεδιασκέψεων με μαθητές από άλλα σχολεία, φεύγοντας με αυτό τον τρόπο από τα όρια της τάξης  και την καθημερινή ρουτίνα. Οι τάξεις που θα συμμετέχουν θα είναι Α΄, Β΄, Δ΄δημοτικού.
